Speaking to the lion and the joy that lives inside every Black person, Still We Thrive is a film about resilience and self-care in the face of global anti-blackness. Using a blend of archival footage and pieces to camera; from different times and geographical locations, Still We Thrive is a counterpoint to the traumatic and painful imagery which has dominated screens in recent time.
